Thomas J. Sadler, C.P.A., C.F.E., A.B.V.




Mr. Sadler’s professional experience includes accounting and consulting service to the firm's accounting and auditing clients and he provides personal financial, tax and estate planning.

Mr. Sadler is responsible for the firm's litigation-related services, including preparation of business valuations for estate tax returns, marital or stockholder dissolutions and sales and acquisitions.  He also investigates and renders accounting assistance on other business issues involved in litigation. 

Graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1968, Mr. Sadler joined Johnson, Paulson & Stolz (now Ernst & Young) that year, becoming a CPA in 1969.  He joined Donald R. Brink in 1972.  He is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs and is past chair of the Washington Society's Litigation Services Committee.  He has earned a specialty designation from the American Institute of CPAs as “Accredited in Business Valuation”.  He also is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a member of the American Board of Forensic Accounting.

Mr. Sadler is past member and past chair of the Washington State Board of Accountancy.  He currently serves the Washington State Board of Accountancy as Strategic Advisor.  He is a past Regional Director and past Director-at-Large of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).  He currently is Chair of NASBA.  Mr. Sadler holds a license to practice in the State of Washington issued by the Washington State Board of Accountancy.

Mr. Sadler is past president of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Lakewood and former member of the Tacoma/Pierce County Economic Development Board.
