
He
graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1976 and joined Doctors Hospital
of Tacoma. He was the first business manager for Tacoma Family Medicine and also
worked for Sound Health Association, a firm subsequently acquired by Group
Health of Puget Sound. He joined
Brink & Sadler in 1979, became a stockholder in the firm in 1990 and serves
as treasurer.
Mr.
Speicher has served as chairman of the Accounting, Auditing and Review Services
Committee of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Associated
General Contractors and the Master Builders Association of Pierce County.
Involved with several community organizations, he has served as president of the
Optimist Club of West Tacoma and is a past Big Brother volunteer. He
is a past president of the
Tacoma Little Theater.
